Simple steps to enroll:
Contact Macalester College to receive an invitation to set up a payment plan.

Subject line: Send payment plan invite
As
a student, you may share the billing responsibility with others but must set up
your account first. You then have two options to set up others to make
payments on your behalf.
Authorized Payer: Set up parents or others as an
Authorized Payer which only allows them to see the balance amount. They
would not receive reminders or see the payment schedule.
Steps to add an Authorized Payer:
1. Please click on the "Want to designate another payer?" link in the
top right corner of the page to designate the Authorized Payer.
2. Once you have completed the required information, an email will be sent to
the Authorized Payer with a link to log into the payment system.
3. When the Authorized Payer has accessed the payment system, the Authorized
Payer can complete a payment plan or make a payment on the student's behalf.
The Payer would not receive payment reminders or see the payment schedule
Plan Owner: Once parents or others are set up as an Authorized
Payer, it is possible to set them up as a Plan Owner to enable them to see all
of the payment plan information.
Steps to change the Plan Owner:
1. Please select “Request a New Plan Owner” from the Payment
Plan Actions menu.
2. Make Authorized Party selection. Only Authorized Payers can take over the
payment plan. Choose from the existing Authorized Payers list and click Save.
If a new Authorized Payer is needed, the student can click on Add Authorized Party.
3. Within minutes of saving, the Authorized
Payer should receive an email inviting them to take over as the Payer (become
the Plan Owner).
